			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In keeping with its charge to “foster the growth and development of the parking industry and parking professionals,” the Pacific Intermountain Parking and Transportation Association (PIPTA) offers annual scholarship support for a variety of professional development activities.</p>
<p>The Emerging Professional Scholarship is offered to expose emerging professionals to the depth and diversity of the industry.  This award waives the registration fee for the 2009 PIPTA conference in Tacoma, Washington.</p>
<p>PIPTA is pleased to announce the award of two 2009 Emerging Professional scholarships to Chris Boyan of Washington State University in Pullman, WA, and Kris Engel of Washington State University in Vancouver, WA.</p>
