Board Elections

PIPTA board members advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, and assist with the leadership and general promotion of PIPTA so as to support the

organization's mission, vision, and operational needs. The Board of Directors meets a minimum of once per calendar quarter as well as additional committee-level meetings. 

Major responsibilities include:

  • Organizational leadership and advisement

  • Organization of the board of directors, officers, and committees

  • Formulation and oversight of policies and procedures

  • Financial management, including adoption and oversight of the annual budget

  • Oversight of program planning and evaluation

  • Review of organizational and programmatic reports

  • Promotion of the organization

  • Fundraising and outreach

Board elections are held every year with nominations starting in April followed by voting in May and June. Terms last four years unless member is appointed or elected to complete the remainder of the term for a vacant directorship. For more information about board service or nominations, please contact us.
